We have prepared these so that they are easy and fast to cook, making them a perfect, healthy and protein-packed choice for your BBQ. Simply grilled, they are ideal for wraps and burgers, and make a stunning addition to rice or lentils.

Sugar, Dried Glucose Syrup, Salt, Dextrose, Modified Maize Starch, Spices, Dehydrated Chilli Flakes, Garlic Powder, Dehydrated Peppers, Herb, Onion Powder, Xanthan Gum (E415), Antioxidant (E300), Natural Colour (E160c), Colour (E162), Fruit Concentrate, Colours (E150c).
Cooking Instructions
Cooking instructions:
1. Salt and pepper both sides of your chicken breasts and heat your skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, lightly grease with cooking spray or a drizzle of oil. Place chicken breasts in the pan and cook until the first side is nicely browned, 3 to 4 minutes.
2. Flip chicken breasts and brown second side, 2 to 3 minutes. Once both sides are browned, add about 1/2-inch of water to the pan. Turn heat down to medium, cover and cook for 5 to 8 minutes (longer with larger breasts). Walk away and do your prep work for the rest of your recipe, checking every once in a while and adding more water if it all evaporates.
3. The chicken is done when an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast reads 165°F.
4. Remove breasts from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes before cutting as recipe calls for. Enjoy!

While we’d be surprised if you could resist the temptation to enjoy immediately, please keep refridgerated unless you intend to eat it right away! Otherwise all our quality meat is suitable for freezing to preserve its taste and texture, meaning you can cook and serve it when you fancy. Once it’s been frozen, please thaw your meat slowly and thoroughly, ideally in the fridge overnight. We vacuum-pack our meat to naturally extend its freshness and make it suitable for home-freezing.

"This pack contains approximately 330g-1kg of chicken. Your item will arrive in a 100% recycled box lovingly packed with FSC-certified shredded spruce from Britain and Sweden, natural sheep’s wool insulation and non-toxic chilled gel packs, all of which can be reused, composted or recycled. To recycle the gel packs, simply cut a corner and dispose of the contents through your normal domestic waste system, as the gel isn’t harmful to the environment. Better still, reuse them by storing in the freezer and chilling other products. The only component from our packaging that can’t be recycled are the foil liners which need to be go in household waste; the poly bags meat comes in in need to go in plastic recycling.

Spicy marinades always go down well, but they must never be rushed. Simply dousing meat in hot sauce and then cooking it will not result in the depth of flavour that you get from a slow marinade. We have spent far longer than we care to think perfecting our hot & spicy marinade, and we believe it shows. Have just tried The Black Farmer pork, tomato and basil sausages and they were absolutetly delicious. Moist, meaty and full of flavour. Probably the best sausages we have had in a while and would definitely recommend.
We ordered a meat box whilst we were camping and had an issue with the delivery company. Chris from the Black Farmer was on the case before I even knew about it. I have never had such a positive customer experience when faced with an issue. Thanks to Chris our meat box arrived in time for our BBQ and was the most delicious hot dogs my family have ever tasted. Received the Easter Box as a competition prize. Had no idea what to expect inside but what a lovely surprise it was. A full Easter Sunday lunch with everything provided and a recipe card as well. The box arrived, complete with ice packs, in excellent condition. The contents were fantastic. The lamb was amazing and I am not its greatest fan. The pie we made was delicious and yes I went straight to the supermarket and bought some Black Farmer sausages and bacon. Will def be ordering more from you in the future - a well deserved 5 stars!!
Initially I’d been reluctant to order as I didn’t want lots of fresh meat arriving with only me here to eat it! Customer Services assured me I could freeze the items upon delivery, which I did - with the exception of one sirloin steak which is now in my tummy and was absolutely delicious! 😁.
