Pastrami is succulent with a melt-in-the-mouth feel. It is delicious in sandwiches or salads alike and makes for a tasty picnic addition. Pastrami is made from beef brisket. The raw meat has been brined, partially dried, seasoned with herbs and spices, then smoked and steamed.
Like corned beef, pastrami was originally created as a way to preserve meat before the invention of refrigeration. Generally, pastrami has the combined taste of sausage and roast beef.

Cooking Instructions
Here’s cooking instruction for Pastrami Sliced:
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
2. Take your Pastrami Sliced out of the packaging and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
3. If desired, you can lightly brush or spray some olive oil on the slices to add moisture and flavor.
4. Place the baking sheet with the Pastrami Sliced in the preheated oven.
5. Cook the slices for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are heated through and slightly crispy around the edges.
6. Once cooked, remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the Pastrami Sliced cool for a few minutes before serving.

Storage Instructions

Keep the pastrami slices in their original packaging or transfer them to an airtight container or resealable plastic bag to prevent any air exposure or cross-contamination. Properly stored, Pastrami Sliced can be refrigerated for up to 3-5 days. If you wish to extend its shelf life, you can also freeze the slices. Wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or place them in a freezer-safe bag before placing them in the freezer. Frozen pastrami slices can maintain their quality for approximately 2-3 months. Your item will arrive in a 100% recycled box lovingly packed with FSC-certified shredded spruce from Britain and Sweden, natural sheep’s wool insulation and non-toxic chilled gel packs, all of which can be reused, composted or recycled. To recycle the gel packs, simply cut a corner and dispose of the contents through your normal domestic waste system, as the gel isn’t harmful to the environment. Better still, reuse them by storing in the freezer and chilling other products. The only component from our packaging that can’t be recycled are the foil liners which need to be go in household waste; the poly bags meat comes in needs to go in plastic recycling.

Have just tried The Black Farmer pork, tomato and basil sausages and they were absolutetly delicious. Moist, meaty and full of flavour. Probably the best sausages we have had in a while and would definitely recommend.
We ordered a meat box whilst we were camping and had an issue with the delivery company. Chris from the Black Farmer was on the case before I even knew about it. I have never had such a positive customer experience when faced with an issue. Thanks to Chris our meat box arrived in time for our BBQ and was the most delicious hot dogs my family have ever tasted. Received the Easter Box as a competition prize. Had no idea what to expect inside but what a lovely surprise it was. A full Easter Sunday lunch with everything provided and a recipe card as well. The box arrived, complete with ice packs, in excellent condition. The contents were fantastic. The lamb was amazing and I am not its greatest fan. The pie we made was delicious and yes I went straight to the supermarket and bought some Black Farmer sausages and bacon. Will def be ordering more from you in the future - a well deserved 5 stars!!
Initially I’d been reluctant to order as I didn’t want lots of fresh meat arriving with only me here to eat it! Customer Services assured me I could freeze the items upon delivery, which I did - with the exception of one sirloin steak which is now in my tummy and was absolutely delicious! 😁.Delightful service, prompt delivery and delicious food 😋😁🌟
