The bold, smoky flavour pairs perfectly with the natural beef richness, delivering a mouth-watering, tender steak every time. Perfect for barbecues, special dinners, or a hearty weekend meal. These ribeye's come from grass-fed, free-range cattle raised on sustainable farms across Wiltshire, Somerset, and the South West, making every bite not just delicious but also responsibly sourced.

Sticky BBQ Beef Ribeye Steak Grill Method:
Preparation: Remove the sticky BBQ ribeye steak from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature. This ensures the steak cooks evenly and remains juicy throughout.
Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill or a heavy-based skillet to medium-high heat. A well-heated grill is essential to caramelise the BBQ sauce and create a beautifully sticky and slightly charred crust.
Cooking: Place the sticky BBQ ribeye steak directly on the hot grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for a medium-rare finish, or adjust the cooking time according to your preferred doneness. As the ribeye cooks, the BBQ sauce will caramelise, forming a sweet and smoky glaze on the steak. The ideal internal temperature for medium-rare is 54-57C.
Basting: While grilling, baste the steak with additional BBQ sauce to enhance the sticky glaze and intensify the flavour. This step is crucial to achieving a deliciously sticky, glossy finish.
Resting: Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes under loosely tented foil. Resting allows the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, ensuring a tender and juicy bite.
Serve: Serve the sticky BBQ ribeye steak on a wooden board with a side of coleslaw and crispy fries. The sweetness of the BBQ glaze pairs perfectly with the tangy crunch of coleslaw and the crispness of the fries, creating a well-rounded and satisfying meal.
Oven Method:
Preparation: Preheat your oven to 200C (180C fan) or gas mark 6. Remove the sticky BBQ ribeye steak from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to allow it to come to room temperature.
Searing: Heat an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Sear the ribeye steak for 2-3 minutes on each side to develop a caramelised crust. The BBQ sauce will begin to caramelise, creating a sticky coating.
Oven Cooking: Transfer the skillet with the seared steak to the preheated oven. Cook for 8-10 minutes for medium-rare, depending on the thickness of the steak. The internal temperature should reach 54-57C for a perfect medium-rare.
Basting: Halfway through the cooking time, baste the steak with more BBQ sauce to enhance the sticky glaze and add depth of flavour.
Resting: Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes under foil to keep it tender and juicy.
