Shipping Policy

At The Black Farmer, we take great care to ensure your order reaches you in excellent condition.

Delivery Days

We deliver on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

We do not deliver on Mondays, Thursdays or Sundays.

You can select your preferred available delivery date during checkout. Available dates depend on your delivery address, order cut-off times and product availability.

Delivery Charges

• Minimum order for delivery: £35

• Standard weekday delivery: £8.60

• FREE delivery: On eligible orders of £50 or more, excluding Saturday delivery

• Saturday delivery: £17.40, regardless of order value

• Click & Collect: FREE

Delivery charges and available delivery options will be confirmed at checkout.

Our Delivery Partner

We use DPD for deliveries.

The day before your scheduled delivery, you will receive confirmation from DPD. On the day of delivery, DPD will provide an estimated delivery time slot.

If you are going to be out, you may have the option to request that your parcel be left with a neighbour or in a safe place, where permitted by the courier and appropriate for your order.

Delivery Areas

We deliver to UK mainland addresses, subject to certain postcode exclusions.

We are currently unable to deliver to the following postcode areas:

AB31–38, AB41–56; EI; FK17–21; GY9; HS1–9; AM; IV; KA27–28; KW0–17; PA20–78; PH15–99; TR21–25; ZE.

We do not deliver to Northern Ireland.

Please ensure your delivery address and postcode are correct before completing your purchase.

Packaging

Our fresh food boxes are packed using insulated liners and gel ice packs to help maintain appropriate temperatures during transit.

Our boxes and gel ice packs are recyclable, and the insulated liners can be reused.

Christmas 2026 Delivery Dates

To help ensure your Christmas food arrives in good time, please take note of our festive order deadlines.

• Pre-order by: 10 December 2026

• Last order date: 17 December 2026, subject to availability

• Last delivery date before Christmas: 23 December 2026

We recommend placing your Christmas order early to secure your preferred products.

Orders placed after the pre-order deadline are subject to availability, and delivery dates must be selected from the options available at checkout.

Bank Holidays and Special Delivery Arrangements

Delivery availability may differ around bank holidays and other exceptional periods.
