The Black Farmer T-Bone steak combines two premium cuts in one: the tender fillet and the juicy sirloin. Known for its rich flavour, this steak is perfect for grilling or pan-searing. It features a T-shaped bone, which separates the fillet from the sirloin, offering a unique taste experience. Sourced from grass-fed, free-range cattle raised in the beautiful British countryside, this steak promises high-quality, sustainable meat. For best results, cook over high heat to retain moisture and tenderness.

T-Bone Steak Grill Method:
Preparation: Remove the T-bone steak from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature, which ensures even cooking.
Seasoning: Rub with olive oil, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Simple seasoning enhances the steak's natural flavours.
Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill or frying pan to high heat. A hot grill will give the T-bone steak those desirable char marks.
Cooking: Grill the T-bone steak for 5-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust the time to achieve your preferred level of doneness. The internal temperature should reach 54-57C.
Resting: Rest the steak for 5 minutes under foil to allow the juices to redistribute.
Serve: Serve with roasted potatoes and a drizzle of red wine sauce for a hearty and elegant meal.
Oven Method:
Preparation: Preheat your oven to 200C (180C fan) or gas mark 6. Bring the steak to room temperature before cooking.
Seasoning: Rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper for a classic flavour profile.
Searing: Sear the T-bone steak in an ovenproof pan for 2-3 minutes on each side to develop a golden-brown crust.
Oven Cooking: Transfer the pan to the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare. Adjust the time based on your preferred doneness.
Resting: Let the steak rest for 5 minutes under foil to keep it juicy.
Serving: Serve with roasted potatoes and red wine sauce for a delicious steak dinner.
These steps guide you through cooking T-bone steak on the grill or in the oven, ensuring a tender and juicy result with a perfect char.
