The boar brings deep, savoury richness; the apple lifts it with gentle fruit and a juicy bite. Oven: 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6, on a tray, 18–20 mins, turning once.

BBQ: Moderate heat, 12–15 mins, turn often.
