This is the centrepiece ham: British pork, cured, cooked and finished with a golden honey glaze that balances sweet and savoury in every slice. Rolled for neat, even carving, it works just as well warm at Sunday lunch as it does cold on a buffet table.

How to serve honey glazed ham

Serve it cold, thickly sliced with pickles, chutney and good bread, or warm it through in a moderate oven until piping hot and serve with mustard mash and seasonal greens. Rest before carving and slice across the joint for even pieces.

Oven roast (recommended):
Preheat oven to 180 °C / Fan 160 °C / Gas Mark 4.
Place ham joint in a roasting tray and cover loosely with foil.
Cook for 30–35 minutes per 500g, basting occasionally.
Remove foil for the final 15–20 minutes to allow the honey glaze to caramelise.
Ensure internal temperature reaches 75 °C and juices run clear.
Rest for 10 minutes before carving.

Chef’s tip: Brush with extra honey and mustard before roasting for a glossy, aromatic finish.

Keep refrigerated below 5°C.
Cook before eating.
Once opened, consume on the same day.
Suitable for freezing on the day of purchase — freeze for up to 6 months.
Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before cooking.
Do not refreeze once defrosted.
