Your Whole Jointed Guinea Fowl
Preparation
1. Preheat your oven to 200C (fan 180C) or gas mark 6.
2. Pat the guinea fowl pieces dry and season with salt, pepper, and your favourite spices or marinade.
Roasting Method
1. Place the breasts and legs on a baking tray with a drizzle of olive oil.
2. Roast for 25-30 minutes, turning the pieces halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 75C.
Grilling or Pan-Frying
1. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
2. Cook the breasts for 6-8 minutes per side and the legs for 10-12 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with roasted root vegetables, a creamy mustard sauce, or a crisp green salad for a wholesome and flavourful meal.
