Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — these chorizo sausages are naturally gluten-free and clearly labelled as such. They’re made from 80% premium British pork and 20% smoked bacon, with a traditional casing, and contain no wheat-based fillers that would compromise a gluten-free diet.
To bring out the rich smoky-paprika and chilli flavour of these sausages, we recommend three methods:
• Grill: Pre-heat to medium, cook for 12–15 minutes turning occasionally until evenly browned.
• Pan-fry: Use a little oil and cook over medium heat for 12–15 minutes, turning frequently until golden and fully cooked.
• Oven: Pre-heat to 190 °C (fan 170 °C) / Gas Mark 5, place on a baking tray and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway. Always ensure the internal temperature reaches ≥ 75 °C before serving.
These methods allow the robust pork and bacon base, and the paprika-garlic-chilli seasoning, to shine through.
These sausages are ideal for adding smoky, vibrant flavour to a variety of meals — perfect for summer BBQs, brunches, or Mediterranean-style dishes.
• For a BBQ: Grill them with roasted peppers, garlic potatoes and a fresh green salad.
• For brunch: Serve with a fried egg, buttered greens or sourdough toast.
• For a Mediterranean twist: Slice into pasta or risotto, or include on a tapas platter with cheese, olives and crusty bread.
Their strong paprika and pepper profile pairs especially well with citrusy or herb-fresh sides.
