Enjoy deep, bold flavour with our Bone-In Mutton Leg – a traditional favourite ideal for slow roasting, braising, or stewing. Mutton, from mature sheep, has a richer, more intense flavour than lamb, making it a perfect centrepiece for hearty, slow-cooked dishes.

Left on the bone for added taste and tenderness, this premium cut is well-suited to classic recipes like Caribbean curry mutton, spiced biryani, or a comforting Sunday roast. Ethically sourced and expertly butchered, it's a must for lovers of robust, full-bodied meats.

Key Features:

Bone-in mutton leg – rich, flavourful and satisfying

Ideal for roasting, stews, curries, and slow-cooked meals

Mature meat for fuller flavour and tender texture

Cooking Method: Slow roast or braise

Time:

Whole (3–4kg): 3.5 to 4.5 hours at 160°C (fan 140°C)

Half (1.7–2.2kg): 2.5 to 3 hours at 160°C

Instructions:

Marinate with garlic, rosemary, olive oil, and lemon overnight

Roast covered for most of the time, then uncover for last 30–40 mins to crisp the exterior

Internal temp should reach 85°C for fall-apart tenderness

Refrigerate: Store in original packaging or airtight container.

Fridge shelf life: Up to 3 days

Freeze: Wrap tightly in cling film or freezer bags

Freezer shelf life: Up to 6 months

Label with date and defrost slowly in fridge before cooking
